justanothercop: (A ghost of the past by me)
[personal profile] justanothercop

part i.
Character name: Detective Inspector Robert 'Robbie' Lewis
Fandom: Inspector Lewis
Species (vampire, werewolf, what have you): Human
Character powers: No powers - he's just your average human being (as to what constitutes 'average' is anyone's guess)

part ii.
1.) Is it acceptable for your character to be mind-controlled or persuaded? How susceptible are they to mind control, hynotism, or suggestion? Maybe. Please, ask me first so we can figure out how susceptible he would be as it would probably vary depending on the situation.
2.) Is it acceptable for your character to have their mind read? Does this include traumatic memories? What is their mind like (disturbing, orderly, joyful, surprisingly empty, etc.)? If the character has psychic walls or preventative measures against psychic interference, please explain. Yes and yes! Feel free to poke around in Lewis's head and see all the nasty as well as the good. If you look around his journal you'll find loads of things to read from him. HOWEVER - I would recommend doing so with care as your character will be risking some very real rage if Lewis finds out what he or she is doing. His mind is full of memories of his past - regrets and rage. There is a pervasive sense of loneliness in his mind. Above all else, though, it is plain to see that he is a genuinely kind, gentle person.
3.) Are thoughts mentioned in narration acceptable for a telepath to pick up? Maybe - ask me first. In most cases it will be fine but run it by me first.
4.) What about emotions, in the case of an empath? What sort of general emotional reading would such a character receive from yours? Sadness. I think that sums it up rather well.
5.) Are there any aspects of your character's mind, emotions, or memories you would like to be picked up, mentioned, or used in character? Conversely, is there anything that should not be noticed, or at least never mentioned? If someone is feeling adventurous then feel free to pick up on the death of his wife. Do so, though, with caution as his reaction to such an intrusion will be met with aggression. BUT - it would make for some delicious character relations. >:D As for anything that shouldn't be picked up - meh, can't think of anything. If you ever have a question though about something don't be afraid to ask me.

part iii.
1.) Physically speaking, what stands out about your character? Imposing size? Physical scarring? Tattoos? Nothing really stands out about Lewis - he's an unassuming figure which is a secret weapon that he wields with great skill.
2.) Is your character immune to any of the following: poisons, chemical agents, telekinetic influence, radiation, or types of illnesses? Nope!
3.) Is your character physiologically different from a human in any way? This can include their blood, skin, hair, etcetera being made up of something unusual or simply differing in construction and durability. Nope!
4.) Are you amenable to having your character be harmed in any way? How far are you comfortable with injury to you character going? Does this include being fed on by vampires, willingly or unwillingly? Yes, I am more than amenable so long as it doesn't involve death or near death without asking me before hand.
5.) Is it acceptable for other characters with abilities of shapeshifting or disguise to imitate your character? Does this include ability mimicry? No.

part iv.
1.) Can your character's presence or aura be noticed by other characters, and how would it look/feel to them? How would it manifest to a character with no supernatural abilities, if at all? Probably not. I mean, if it's something you're interested in then by all means ask me and I'll probably be cool with it.
2.) Can your character be affected by magic spells and curses? Yes.
3.) Can your character be affected by sin and corruption, and be tempted toward expressing their darker urges (of whatever flavor)? Yes.
4. What sort of sins is the character prone toward, and how might they best be tempted, if you are interested in such an event? Revenge would be a sin he would be prone toward if he feels it is to right an injustice. He would be best tempted into revenge if he witnessed someone being hurt or suffering needlessly.
5.) Are you amenable to the character receiving prophetic visions, including as part of a plot? Sure!

part v.
1.) Is canon-puncturing or fourth-walling acceptable? We encourage people to tread extremely lightly with allowing their character to learn they are fictional. HELL NO! You do this and I will cheerfully gut you like a fish. :D
2. Is threadjacking allowed? Under what circumstances? Yes, so long as it is an open log.
3. Is it acceptable for canonmates that are updated further than yours to inform your character of events yours has not yet experienced? Probably? Ask first though, please.
4. Are there triggering or upsetting topics you would like other characters to avoid mentioning to yours for the sake of continued comfort (racist words, homophobia, self-injury, etc.)? No.
5. Are there any additions you would like us to make to this survey? Nope!
